Rebuilding our Instagram 😊. Official baklava of @kahvecafeslc . Punk’d ~ Playful ~ Bite-Sized

Walnut rose baklava is one of our staples in our b Walnut rose baklava is one of our staples in our bakery case. We use dried rose petals instead of rose water to infuse the whole baklava w the light rose flavor.

I personally like the flavor that comes thru actual rose petals more than the rose petals water that most others add to the syrup . That has too much of a synthetic flavor to me.

We source our rose petals from @teazaanti ! Their dried rose petals are vibrant in color and flavor!

Our baklava flavors can be all over the place w di Our baklava flavors can be all over the place w different combinations, but the one unifying spice in all of them is cinnamon.

Our cinnamon is imported directly from the Spice Market in Istanbul so it’s all sorts of extra!

Research suggests that cinnamon powder may be suitable for weight loss, controlling blood glucose levels, and improving memory.

So really our baklava is healthy, right? So indulge in 1 or 2 pieces..they are good for you! 😉

It all started when I got laid off from my job at the Fine Arts museum and decided to try making treats for the downtown farmers market.

Two fold out cards tables under a big oak tree with baklava, cakes and other Turkish treats began it all.

Still standing 20 years later..we may be small, but we be mighty 💪🏻👊🏻🙌🏻
