Over the past week, we have gone from meeting friends out for coffee and lunch to home, turning to Zoom to feel connected even though there are miles between us.
Not only did I feel the need to be creative, but I needed to create connection even just a little bit. My love language is feeding people. It’s what I love to do.
So, after an afternoon of creating chocolate covered confections, I thought I would go for a little drive and surprise some friends with some goodies to lift peoples spirits a bit.
We don’t have to go thru this alone and can do what we can to show people we care.
If you have extra, give some to others.
If you need something, don’t be afraid to ask.
This is the time when we need to come together most..even if it’s 6 ft away, placing a food container on someones steps and waving hello.
It makes a difference. It helps with the isolation because you know you are not alone and someone was thinking of you.
Do what you can with what you have because that’s how we pay it forward.
